1. Who checks the code before it goes live?
AI writes fast and sounds sure of itself even when it is wrong. If nothing checks it independently, nobody knows what it does with your customers’ details.
Anyone can now ask AI for an app, and many do. In May 2026 researchers found thousands of AI-built apps showing private data to anyone with the address. Under each question is what a good answer sounds like. Copy them, share them, and ask us all ten.
AI writes fast and sounds sure of itself even when it is wrong. If nothing checks it independently, nobody knows what it does with your customers’ details.
This is a common fault in AI-built apps. Ask to see it tested: log in as one customer and try to open another’s page.
“In the cloud” is not an answer. You should hear which country, which company, and exactly who holds a key.
Software that has only ever been used politely has not been tested. Ask what was tried and what was fixed.
A backup nobody has ever restored is a hope, not a backup.
Your customer list should not end up in somebody else’s training data. There are settings that prevent it, and whoever builds your software should be able to name them.
Everything breaks sooner or later. The question is whether anyone understands it well enough to mend it.
If every change means starting again, the software was never understood by the people who made it. It should grow with you.
If the answer is no, you are renting your own business back.
A promise made on a call is worth what it is written on.
